Dyin' Glass

8:30a to noon. Glassy, overcast, swell still lingering but inconsistent.

More lined up today without the winds and long rides were still had. From 2-8 people max all morning. Got some cutback slashes on my fish that felt good. Water is cold again, cold for summer that is. One guy was out in trunks...but not for long. I'm starting to catch more and more over to the left of the white house. It has a quicker drop and you gotta beat the closeout section but it is worth it for the speed.

Blueberry sitting outside and waiting and waiting and scoring. Cool morn.

3.5 @11 from 170.

Lumpy

Rising tide on a beautifully foggy Sunday evening. 6-8pm. Lumps from the local wind but didn't kill it at all, made it more fun with the small little ramps.

Swell is definitely here. 2.9 @ 17sec from 190 and 3.4 @ 12sec from 220.

Got several long rides. One swung way outside and rode it 'til Bill's house. Niiiice.

Locals all came out around 7ish but I have my fill by myself, and then one other.

Point Pants did me right once more.

Eastern Northern Neighbor

Long flight back to the Upper East Coast.
Trees and trees as the night fades.
Pre-dawn new morning crossing the border.
Ferry to the island with all her riches.
Bumpy jeep ride to outer east of the islet.
Eyes bug out of your head as it appears.
Sweet hollow peeling perfection reeling.
Paddle out and take it all in.
You are scoring.
Hard.
